About Program
The BS English program is designed to strengthen students' command of English while developing a deeper understanding of language, linguistics, and literature. It focuses on clear and confident communication in both spoken and written English and helps students build the analytical, interpretive, and research skills needed for academic and professional settings.
Through the study of language and literature, students learn to examine how communication is shaped by social, cultural, and contemporary contexts. The program prepares graduates for a range of career paths, including education, business communication, digital content and copywriting, translation, research, and other fields where strong language and critical-thinking skills are valued.
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification: Applicants must have completed Intermediate (HSSC), FA, FSc, ICS, or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 45-50% marks, as applicable. Candidates holding a Madrasah certificate are required to provide an IBCC equivalence certificate.
- Admission Test: Applicants must qualify through NTS NAT or the University Entry Test with a minimum cumulative score of 50%.
