About Program
The ADP Sports Sciences & Physical Education is a two-year associate degree program designed to provide students with a practical foundation in physical education, fitness, sports training, health, and human performance. The program introduces key areas such as exercise science, sports psychology, coaching, physical fitness, health education, and basic principles of movement and training.
Students develop practical skills through fitness activities, training exercises, coaching practice, and field-based learning. The program prepares graduates for entry-level opportunities in schools, sports academies, fitness centers, gyms, and community health or wellness settings, while also providing a pathway for further study in Sports Science, Physical Education, or related disciplines subject to university admission and credit-transfer policies.
Eligibility Criteria
- 2.5 Years: Applicants holding a Bachelor degree based on 14 years of education with at least 45% marks under the annual system, or an Associate Degree in a non-relevant discipline with a minimum 2.00/4.00 CGPA from a recognized institution, may be considered for the 2.5-year track. After completing the required bridge semester, students will follow the prescribed scheme from the 5th through the 8th semester.
- 2 Years: Candidates holding an Associate Degree in a relevant discipline with at least 45% marks under the annual system or a minimum 2.00/4.00 CGPA under the semester system from a recognized institution may enter the 2-year track and follow the prescribed scheme from the 5th through the 8th semester.
- Entry Test / Aptitude Interview: Applicants are required to pass an entry test or aptitude interview conducted by the university as part of the admission process.
